Formal equative comparison (równie ... jak)

Formal Comparisons with "równie ... jak"

To say that two things are equal in a certain quality (like "as attractive as"), use równie (equally) followed by an adjective and jak (as). This is a formal way to compare high-end products, services, or experiences.

This premium package is as attractive as that one.
Most people assume that this brand is as prestigious as others.

Using "co" Instead of "jak"

You can also use co instead of jak to complete the comparison. The structure równie ... co means exactly the same thing.

The new resort is as exclusive as our favorite residence.
Our standard suite is as big as that one.

You can use either structure to compare different models, packages, or even situations across different seasons:

I claim that this resort is as attractive in winter as in summer.
Half of the clients claim that this brand's standard offer is as attractive as the premium package.
