Stepping In with "Niech"
When you need to take charge, step in to solve a sudden issue, or just ask for a moment to think, Polish uses the particle niech to form the first-person imperative. This roughly translates to "Let me..." in English.
To create this form, combine niech, the pronoun ja (which adds emphasis: "Let me do it"), and a first-person singular verb.

Dropping the Pronoun
Just like in typical Polish sentences, the pronoun ja is optional. If the context is clear and you don't need the extra emphasis, you can simply use niech followed directly by the first-person singular verb.
