nie znosićcan't stand — always negative, with the Genitive: nie znoszę hałasu.

to be fed up with, to have had enough of (+ Genitive)

mieć dość + Genitive — to be fed up with, to have had enough of: mam dość tej pracy.

I am fed up with this job.
Mam dość tej pracy.

Not caring

it's all the same, I don't mind (wszystko mi jedno)

wszystko jednoit's all the same; with a Dative person, wszystko mi jedno (I don't mind). As an answer it stands alone.

Coffee or tea? — It's all the same to me.
Kawa czy herbata? — Wszystko jedno.

it doesn't matter

nie ma znaczeniait doesn't matter.

to concern, to matter to (nie obchodzi mnie to)

obchodzić — you know it as to celebrate. Its other meaning is to concern, to matter to, used with an Accusative person and usually negated: nie obchodzi mnie to (I don't care about it), co cię to obchodzi?

I don't care what he thinks.
Nie obchodzi mnie, co on myśli.

Worry, regret, disappointment

to fear, to be afraid of (+ Genitive; o + Accusative; że)

obawiać sięto fear, to be afraid — the polite, milder relative of bać się: with the Genitive (obawiam się deszczu), with o + Accusative for someone you worry about, or with że.

I am afraid it is going to rain.
Obawiam się, że będzie padać.

I feel sorry (for); I regret (żal mi, że...)

żal miI feel sorry / I regret: żal mi tego chłopca (I feel sorry for that boy, Genitive), żal mi, że… (I regret that…).

disappointed, let down

zawiedzionydisappointed, let down — from zawieść (to let down); with the Instrumental of the cause: zawiedziony wynikiem.

desire; thirst

pragnieniedesire, and also thirst: mieć pragnienie.
