Usages of go

Note how, just as with 家内 the kanji in this word correspond to traditional gender roles.
The problem is that though among friends you can use 夫, in a less casual setting there's not currently really a good alternative to ご主人 to politely refer to someone else's husband.
ご家族 は 元気 です か。gokazoku ha genki desu ka.
How is your family? (Is your family well?)
先生 に ご意見 を 伺いたい です。sensei ni goiken wo ukagaitai desu.
I would like to ask for your opinion, teacher.
