雨 が 見える。ame ga mieru.
Rain is visible; / (I) can see rain.
橋 の 上 から 川 が 見える。hashi no ue kara kawa ga mieru.
You can see the river from the bridge.
に 見えるni mieru
to look like
あの 雲、 動物 に 見えない?ano kumo, doubutsu ni mienai?
Doesn't that cloud look like an animal?
