• 部長ぶちょう は 忙いそがしい けれど、 昼休ひるやすみ に 私わたし の 電話番号でんわばんごう を 聞きいた。: The manager was busy, but during the lunch break he asked for my phone number.
• 冬ふゆ は 寒さむい けれど、 雪ゆき が 好すき です。: Winter is cold, but I like snow.
• この 道みち は 狭せまい けれど、 夜よる は かなり 賑にぎやか だ。: This street is narrow, but it’s quite lively at night.
• 両親りょうしん は たまに けんか を する けれど、 すぐ 仲直なかなおりします。: My parents sometimes fight, but they make up quickly.
• 今日きょう は 少すこし 疲つかれて いる けれど、「ここ まで 勉強べんきょう して おいて よかった」 と 将来しょうらい の 自分じぶん が 思おもえる よう に、 日記にっき に 短みじかい 感想かんそう だけ 書かいて から 寝ねます。: I’m a bit tired today, but so that my future self can think, “I’m glad I studied this much,” I’ll write just a short reflection in my diary and then go to sleep.
