Usages of keredo

部長ぶちょう　は　忙いそがしい　けれど、　昼休ひるやすみ　に　私わたし　の　電話番号でんわばんごう　を　聞きいた。buchou wa isogashii keredo, hiruyasumi ni watashi no denwabangou o kiita.

The manager was busy, but during the lunch break he asked for my phone number.

冬ふゆ　は　寒さむい　けれど、　雪ゆき　が　好すき　です。fuyu wa samui keredo, yuki ga suki desu.

Winter is cold, but I like snow.
