• 十時じゅうじ まで に 来こられなければ、 会議かいぎ に 遅おくれます。: If you can’t come by ten o’clock, you will be late for the meeting.
• 早はやく 起おきなければ、 学校がっこう に 間まに合あいません。: If I don't wake up early, I won't be on time for school.
• 急行きゅうこう が 止とまらなければ、 次つぎ の 駅えき まで 行いく。: If the express doesn’t stop, I’ll go to the next station.
• 私わたし は 無理むりな 約束やくそく は しない。 時間じかん が なければ 行いける はず が ない から だ。: I don’t make impossible promises, because if I don’t have time, there’s no way I can go.
• 宿題しゅくだい を 出ださなければ、 先生せんせい に 注意ちゅういされます。: If you don’t turn in your homework, you will be warned by the teacher.
• 私わたし は 新品しんぴん より 中古ちゅうこ を 買かって、 気き に 入いらなければ 交換こうかんします。: I buy used rather than new, and if I don’t like it I exchange it.
• 在庫ざいこ が あって も、 故障こしょう の 原因げにん が 分わからなければ、 すぐ 交換こうかんして もらえないこと も ある。: Even if it is in stock, there are times when you cannot get it exchanged right away if the cause of the malfunction is unknown.
