• A diák a tanárra vár a tanterem előtt.: The student is waiting for the teacher in front of the classroom.
• A diák ott akarja várni a barátot.: The student wants to wait for the friend there.
• A barátok várnak minket az ajtó előtt.: The friends are waiting for us in front of the door.
• Én várlak titeket a téren.: I am waiting for you (plural) in the square.
• Várjuk őket az ajtónál.: We are waiting for them at the door.
• Két órája várlak a kávézóban, hol vagy?: I have been waiting for you in the café for two hours, where are you?
• Én várlak a padnál.: I am waiting for you by the bench.
• Ön is jön értünk a hídhoz, vagy ott vár minket?: Are you (formal) also coming for us to the bridge, or are you waiting for us there?
• A tanár már vár minket a könyvtárban.: The teacher is already waiting for us in the library.
• Anya az iskola előtt várja a lányát.: Mom is waiting for her daughter in front of the school.
• Apa a buszmegállónál várja a lányát.: Dad is waiting for his daughter at the bus stop.
