• Vi sidas sur la seĝo.: You sit on the chair.
• La infano ludas sur la seĝo.: The child plays on the chair.
• La telefono estas sur la tablo.: The phone is on the table.
• Rigardu tiun ruĝan libron sur la tablo!: Look at that red book on the table!
• Mia amiko spektas la filmon sur televido, sed mi preferas legi vortarojn.: My friend watches the movie on television, but I prefer reading dictionaries.
• En mia ĉambro estas lito, tablo kaj spegulo sur la muro.: In my room there is a bed, a table and a mirror on the wall.
• Kiam mi vekiĝas, mi ankoraŭ kuŝas en la lito kaj rigardas la spegulon sur la muro.: When I wake up, I still lie in bed and look at the mirror on the wall.
• En la mateno mi preskaŭ malfruas, ĉar mi ne vidas la horon sur la horloĝo.: In the morning I am almost late, because I do not see the time on the clock.
• En vintro, kiam neĝo kuŝas sur la tero, nia hejmo ŝajnas plej varma.: In winter, when snow lies on the ground, our home seems warmest.
• Kiam pluvo falas sur la tero, la ĝardeno ŝajnas pli verda ol en vintro.: When rain falls on the ground, the garden seems greener than in winter.
