Usages of bilen

• Storbyen er altid travl med mange biler og mennesker.: The metropolis is always busy with many cars and people.
• Bilen er rød.: The car is red.
• Jeg ser rækken med biler i byen.: I see the row of cars in the city.
• Min bror må ikke låne bilen i aften.: My brother may not borrow the car tonight.
• Bilen larmer, så jeg lukker vinduet.: The car is noisy, so I close the window.
• Min datters madkasse står stadig i bilen, så jeg må gå tilbage og hente den.: My daughter’s lunchbox is still in the car, so I have to go back and get it.
• Mit penalhus ligger i skuffen, men min datters notatbog er stadig i bilen.: My pencil case is in the drawer, but my daughter’s notebook is still in the car.
• Der er færre biler på vejen i dag, så det tager kortere tid at komme hjem.: There are fewer cars on the road today, so it takes less time to get home.
• Min frakke hænger bag døren, og jeg spænder mit bælte, før jeg sætter mig i bilen.: My coat is hanging behind the door, and I fasten my belt before I sit down in the car.
