Why does attends end with an 's'?
attendre is a regular -re verb. To make the je (I) form, you take off the -re ending and add -s. Also, because attends starts with a vowel, the word je drops its 'e' and combines with the verb to become j'. Where is the word for 'for' in this sentence? Why isn't it J'attends pour?
