- Start with the fixed verb **tuli** (the 3rd person singular past tense of *tulla*).
- Add the action verb formatted as a passive past participle in the partitive case. This means the verb will end in **-tua** or **-tyä** (e.g., *tehdä* becomes *tehtyä*, *ostaa* becomes *ostettua*).
- Omit the subject. You do not use a pronoun like *minä* (I) or *sinä* (you). The sentence is completely impersonal, though context usually implies the speaker did it.
