Learn Farsi: ما ساعت پنج وقت آزاد نداریم. - We do not have free time at five o'clock.

To say "we don't have", we take the positive verb dârim (we have) and add the negative prefix na- to the beginning, making it nadârim. Unlike most verbs in the present tense, "to have" doesn't use the mi- prefix, so you just attach na- directly to the verb.

Why is there no word for "at" in "at five o'clock"?

In English, we say "at" a certain time, but Farsi often skips the preposition for daily time expressions. You can just say sâ'at-e panj (literally "hour five") and the "at" is naturally understood.

Why are the words for "free time" in the order vaght âzâd?

In Farsi, adjectives usually come after the noun they describe. So instead of "free time", the sentence literally says "time free" (vaght-e âzâd).

I hear an "e" sound between sâ'at and panj, and between vaght and âzâd, but I don't see it written. Why?

That is the ezâfe, a short "e" sound that links a noun to a describing word (like an adjective or another noun). You pronounce them as sâ'at-e panj (hour of five) and vaght-e âzâd (time that is free). In the standard Farsi alphabet, this short "e" vowel is rarely written, but you must still say it out loud!
