The Negative of "To Have"
To make the verb داشتن (to have) negative, you simply attach the prefix ن to the beginning of the conjugated verb.
Remember that in the present tense, "to have" does not use the standard می prefix. Therefore, its negative simply takes ن instead of the نمی prefix used for most other verbs.

You can use the exact same negative forms to talk about not having abstract concepts, such as answers, ideas, or free time.
