Questions & Answers about این پرونده‌ها منظم است.

The English translation says "These files", but the Farsi sentence starts with in (this). Why isn't it plural?
In Farsi, when you use a pointing word like in (this) or ân (that) right before a noun, the pointing word stays in its singular form, even if the noun is plural. Since parvande-hâ (files) is already plural with the -hâ marker, the word in stays as is.
How is the plural marker -hâ attached to parvande here?
The word for file, parvande, ends in the letter "heh" (ه) which makes a short "e" sound. When adding the plural marker -hâ (ها) to words ending in this silent "heh", we do not physically connect the letters. They are kept slightly separated to make it easy to read: parvande-hâ (پرونده‌ها).
Why does the sentence use the singular verb ast (is) if we are talking about multiple files?
This is a very important rule in Farsi: if the subject of the sentence is plural but not human (like files, books, or cars), the verb is almost always singular. So, Farsi literally says "These files is organized."
Does the adjective monazzam (organized) need to change to match the plural files?
No, Farsi adjectives do not change to match plural nouns. The word monazzam stays exactly the same whether you are talking about one organized file or a hundred.
