To say "one and a half" in Dutch, use anderhalf. It is always followed by a singular noun.
When the noun is a het-word (like uur), use the basic form anderhalf.
| The band's rehearsal lasts one and a half hours. |
| We have been waiting for the drummer for one and a half hours! |
When used with a de-word (like week or maand), add an -e: anderhalve. The noun still remains singular.
| The bass player searched for the amplifier for one and a half weeks. |
| We have been practicing this solo for one and a half months. |
Notice how the gender of time units like minuut (de) and uur (het) determines the correct form:
| The volume of the drum kit has been too soft for one and a half hours. |
| We change the volume after one and a half minutes. | Wij veranderen het volume na anderhalve minuut. |
