### Counting Male Groups

When counting small groups consisting *exclusively* of males, Croatian uses specific numeral nouns. For groups of two, three, and four men, you will use **dvojica**, **trojica**, and **četvorica**.

Because these words function as nouns representing a group (like "a pair" or "a trio"), the people being counted must follow in the **Genitive plural** case. 

Additionally, even though words like *dvojica* look like singular feminine nouns, they refer to multiple men. Therefore, when they act as the subject of a sentence, the verb must take a plural form.

### Expanding the Group

The exact same grammatical rules apply when talking about groups of four men using **četvorica**. The noun remains in the Genitive plural, and the action uses a plural verb.
