Class Overview

Unlike your typical school classes, the TingLing course completely relies on you being responsible enough to know when you need help.

If you never go over vocabulary that you don't know, you'll most likely start missing points on questions in topics that progress beyond that. We advise that you go back and review things yourself (or with the help of a previous lesson) if you are missing points.

With all of this put together, you may be getting an idea of how to practice; that's good! This class is very independent, for we don't have any teachers to show you the way around the language if you need help.

At the start of every lesson, there will be a lecture waiting for you. Remeber to read this very carefully and obtain information from it; you will most likely need to refer back to it at some point. In the first few lectures, there are a warnings that tell you the class expectations again; after this, you are expected to know when you need help.

On top of all of this, the class doesn't have any checkpoints, grades, tests, or quizzes for you to stress out about. Hooray for that! On another note... this means that there's no way to know how good you're doing without just going through it and seeing your mistakes. Mistakes are okay, and you're actually advised to just push through a lesson before reviewing it!

Are you ready to learn this language?

*there will continuously be more added lessons to the lexicon over time, so be ready to go back and see what's new if you finish it early!
