Learn Turkish
Lesson 86: Languages
In this lesson you will learn the names of the languages in Turkish, which is often just the name of the nation or nationality plus the suffix -CE. Here again, the C in -CE behaves according to suffix consonant harmony, changing into a Ç after a voiceless consonant. Most of the exceptions come from French loanwords.
