Dropping the Noun
You say เสื้อตัวนี้ this shirt with noun + classifier + นี้. When both speakers can see what is meant, Thai simply DROPS the noun and keeps the rest:

Swap นี้ for ไหน and you have the question: อันไหน — which one? The answer is another classifier phrase: อันนี้, อันนั้น.
