Successful completion (สำเร็จ)

Achieving Success with สำเร็จ

To express that an attempt or effort was completed successfully, use the resultative verb สำเร็จ. Place สำเร็จ at the end of the clause, right after the action verb and its object.

Overcoming Obstacles

This grammar point is useful when talking about conquering challenges.

State the action of attempting to overcome the obstacle first, and conclude the phrase with the successful result.

Negation and Multiple Achievements

To say you haven't succeeded yet, place a negative word (like ยังไม่) before the main action verb, keeping สำเร็จ at the end of the sentence.

You can also list multiple achievements at once. สำเร็จ sits at the very end to show that the entire series of efforts was a success.

Professional Success

สำเร็จ is frequently used to report the positive outcome of high-stakes actions, such as developing a new research method or performing a surgical operation.
