Continuous progression (เรื่อยๆ)

Continuous Progression: เรื่อยๆ

To show that an action is happening continuously or steadily, place the word เรื่อยๆ at the end of a verb phrase.

In the garden, plants are always changing. When describing things that are expanding, growing, or "getting more and more," you will frequently pair เรื่อยๆ with directional words like ขึ้น (up / increasing) or ออก (out / expanding).

Steady Processes

You can also use เรื่อยๆ directly after a standard verb to show that a process is steadily happening over time without interruption.

This structure is excellent for showing how a state compounds or increases. Place comparative words like เยอะขึ้น (more in quantity) before เรื่อยๆ to emphasize that something keeps happening more and more.
