Connecting Nouns
To link two nouns together, use the conjunction และ. Simply place it directly between the two items you are connecting, just like in English.

| On the desk there is paper and glue. | บน โต๊ะ มี กระดาษ และ กาว ค่ะ |
Listing Multiple Items
When listing three or more items, state the nouns one after another and place และ immediately before the final item. Unlike English, written Thai does not use commas between the words in a list; you just place the nouns side by side.
| I want to buy a notebook, a pencil, and an eraser. | ฉัน อยาก ซื้อ สมุด ดินสอ และ ยางลบ ค่ะ |
| He has documents, folders, and paper. | เขา มี เอกสาร แฟ้ม และ กระดาษ ครับ |
| The scissors, ruler, and glue are on the table. | กรรไกร ไม้บรรทัด และ กาว อยู่ บน โต๊ะ ค่ะ |
