At the station and the bank (туда и обратно, открыть счёт)

Buying the Ticket

At a Russian ticket window you are asked one question above all others: one way, or туда и обратно? The phrase is frozen — "there and back" — and it does not change for case or number.

Один билет до Москвы, *туда и обратно.*

Changing Trains

The noun пересадка you already know. The verb that goes with it is сделать: Где нужно *сделать пересадку?* Russian uses "make a change", never "change trains".
