Weighing Pros and Cons: "Em contrapartida"
When discussing the advantages and disadvantages of different work models, you need tools to balance opposing ideas. The expression em contrapartida translates to "on the other hand," "in return," or "in contrast."
It is typically used at the beginning of a new clause or sentence to introduce a trade-off, counter-argument, or a balancing point.

Shifting Focus: "Por seu lado" and "Por sua vez"
When you want to contrast the viewpoints or situations of two different subjects—such as the company versus the employee, or in-person work versus teleworking—you can use por seu lado (for his/her/its part) or por sua vez (in turn).
These connectors act as a pivot to shift the focus to the second subject. Unlike em contrapartida, which usually sits at the very beginning of the contrasting clause, por seu lado and por sua vez are frequently placed right after the new subject, enclosed in commas.
