Dressing
Three verbs cover the whole act: vestir (to put on / wear clothes), despir (to take off), calçar (to put on shoes — feet get their own verb). All three reflexive when you do it to yourself: visto-me, calço-me.

Nouns That Live in the Plural
Some clothing nouns only exist in the plural: as calças (trousers), as cuecas (underpants), os óculos (glasses) — one object, plural word, plural agreement: as minhas calças SÃO novas. The mirror class never changes at all: o lápis / os lápis — same form, both numbers. When you meet a noun like these, its article does the counting for you.
