The Imperfective Future Tense
To express ongoing, continuous, or repeated actions in the future (like I will be working), Polish uses the imperfective future tense.
Form it by combining the future tense of być (to be) with an imperfective infinitive (like pracować or odpoczywać).

Match the correct form of być to your subject, followed by your main verb. Time markers like kiedy (when), niedługo (soon), and później (later) are frequently used to set the context.

| I will be resting soon. | Niedługo będę odpoczywać. |
| I am tired now, but I will be cleaning later. | Jestem teraz zmęczony, ale będę sprzątać później. |
This pattern stays exactly the same for third-person subjects (będzie) and plurals (będziemy, będziecie, będą):
