similar (podobny do + Genitive)

podobny — similar — with do + Genitive: podobny do ojca (like his father); podobni do siebie (alike). The adverb gives just like, similarly to

podobnie jak — just like, similarly to.

compared with (+ Instrumental)

w porównaniu z + Instrumental — compared with.

unlike, in contrast to (+ Genitive)

w przeciwieństwie do + Genitive — unlike, in contrast to.

As … as possible

jak + superlative — as … as possible: as quickly as possible (jak + superlative)

jak najszybciej (as quickly as possible), jak najlepiej (as well as possible), jak najwięcej (as much as possible). Take the superlative you learned with naj- and put jak in front.
