The colour set
Polish colour words are ordinary adjectives: they agree with their noun in gender, number and case, exactly like the adjectives you already know.
biały white, czerwony red, zielony green, niebieski blue, żółty yellow, różowy pink, pomarańczowy orange, brązowy brown, szary grey, fioletowy purple.

Two words for blue
niebieski is everyday blue. błękitny is light, sky-like blue — common in descriptions of sky and sea. When in doubt, say niebieski.
