Japanese 288 - Saying when using 時

とき can be used to link two clauses together. It indicates that the action in the main clause happens at the time or the moment the situation in the subordinate clause takes place.

It is used grammatically in the following way.

subordinate clause ending innoun + のmain clause
い-adjective
な-adjective + な
plain verb
