Usages of oishii
この 肉 は おいしい です！kono niku wa oishii desu!
This meat is delicious!
貝 は おいしかった です けれど 食べません でした。kai wa oishikatta desu keredo tabemasen deshita.
I didn't eat the shellfish, though it was delicious.
高かった です けど おいしかった です。takakatta desu kedo oishikatta desu.
It was delicious though it was expensive.
りんご は きれい でした けれど、 おいしく なかった です。ringo wa kirei deshita keredo, oishiku nakatta desu.
The apple was pretty, but it was not delicious.
この レストラン の カレー は ラーメン より おいしい です よ。kono resutoran no karee wa raamen yori oishii desu yo.
This restaurant's curry is tastier than its ramen, (I'm telling you).
この 食べ物 は おいしい です から、 食べたい です。kono tabemono wa oishii desu kara, tabetai desu.
I want to eat this food, because it's delicious.
Using です before から is very formal. We'll learn in a later lesson how to make less formal sentences with から.
この りんご は きれい です。 でも、 おいしく ない です。kono ringo wa kirei desu. demo, oishiku nai desu.
This apple is pretty, but it's not delicious.
おいしかった です。oishikatta desu.
It was delicious.
昨日 食べたの は おいしかった。kinou tabetano wa oishikatta.
