Japanese 320 - Forming superlatives with 一番

Superlatives are words like the fastest or the strongest. In Japanese the superlative can be formed by using the word いちばん in front of words, like in the following sentences.

いちばん literally means first, and can be used to mean first, as you can see in the following sentences.

If you want to say that among a specific group X, Y is the most A, you can use the construction Xの中でYが一番A.
