When talking about a pair, like siblings or twins, there are two common ways to say "both" in Italian: **entrambi** and **tutti e due**.

### Entrambi (Both)

**Entrambi** means "both." It changes its ending to match gender: **entrambi** for masculine nouns and **entrambe** for feminine nouns.

When followed by a noun, always include the definite article (*i*, *gli*, *le*) between the quantifier and the noun.

### Tutti e due (Both)

An equally common alternative is **tutti e due** (literally, "all and two"). It works exactly the same way, changing for gender (**tutti e due** for masculine, **tutte e due** for feminine) and requiring the definite article before the noun.
