The conditional of irregular verbs
You can use the present conditional to express hypothetical situations—things you "would" do or that "would" happen.
Some of the most common verbs in Italian have irregular conditional stems, but they all use the exact same endings: -ei, -esti, -ebbe, -emmo, -este, and -ebbero.
Irregular stems: fare and essere
To conjugate fare (to do/make) and essere (to be) in the conditional, use the irregular stems far- and sar-.

Irregular stems: andare and avere
The verbs andare (to go) and avere (to have) both drop a vowel to form their short conditional stems: andr- and avr-.
