### Justifying actions with "dato che" and "visto che"

To explain *why* you are doing something, you already know **perché** (because). However, Italian offers flexible alternatives like **dato che** (given that) and **visto che** (seeing that) to set up your reasoning.

While **perché** is usually placed in the middle of a sentence to link an action to its cause, **dato che** and **visto che** are often placed at the very beginning of a sentence to establish the context upfront.
