One more irregular plural

The previous lesson covered i-umlaut plurals like hendur and bækur. Masculine nouns in -andi — mostly agent nouns built from verbs — form their own class: the plural ends in -endur.

The cases

Accusative and dative plural keep the -endur stem: nemendur, nemendum. The genitive plural is nemenda: The parents of the students came to the meeting.
