þjónustufulltrúinn is the customer-service representative, afgreiðslukonan the shop assistant. When the service is good you can hrósa (+ dative) — to praise: Ég hrósaði þjónustufulltrúanum fyrir hjálpina. You already know kvarta for the opposite direction.

til baka covers both directions of returning: Ég fékk hundrað krónur til baka. and koma til baka, to come back. lánið is what the bank gives you for blokkin (the block of flats) — or the garden shed, skúrinn.
