Usages of kyouto
京都 へ 観光 に 行ったら、 まず 博物館 へ 行きたい です。kyouto e kankou ni ittara, mazu hakubutsukan e ikitai desu.
If I go sightseeing in Kyoto, I want to go to a museum first.
京都 に 行く とき、 駅 で 弁当 を 買います。kyouto ni iku toki, eki de bentou o kaimasu.
When I go to Kyoto, I buy a boxed lunch at the station.

Kyoto in autumn has many tourists, and on top of that, the area around the station gets very crowded.
日帰り で 京都 へ 観光 に 行く なら、 始発 に 乗った ほう が いい です。higaeri de kyouto e kankou ni iku nara, shihatsu ni notta hou ga ii desu.
If you’re going sightseeing in Kyoto on a day trip, it’s better to take the first train.
