• Ĉu vi ŝatas la ruĝan aŭ la verdan jakon por hodiaŭ?: Do you like the red or the green jacket for today?
• Mi ŝatas la belan libron.: I like the beautiful book.
• Ŝi neniam iras al alia kuracisto, ĉar ŝi tre ŝatas sian kuraciston.: She never goes to another doctor, because she really likes her doctor.
• Mi ne ŝatas flugi, sed mia fratino ĝojas, kiam ŝi sidas apud la fenestro en la aviadilo.: I do not like to fly, but my sister is happy when she sits next to the window on the airplane.
• Mi ŝatas vian voĉon, ĉar ĝi estas trankvila.: I like your voice, because it is calm.
• Mi ŝatas la klarecon de via raporto, ĉar ĝi montras ĉiun paŝon.: I like the clarity of your report, because it shows every step.
• Mia fratino ne ŝatas stiri en la centro, ĉar kamionoj kaj aliaj veturiloj ofte moviĝas tro proksime al la trotuaro.: My sister does not like to drive in the center, because trucks and other vehicles often move too close to the sidewalk.
• Ŝi tre ŝatas junan poetinon, kies poemoj sonas simple, sed restas en la kapo.: She really likes a young female poet whose poems sound simple, but stay in the mind.
• Mia fratino volas traduki tiun poemon en Esperanton, ĉar ŝi tre ŝatas la originalan tekston.: My sister wants to translate that poem into Esperanto, because she really likes the original text.
