下雨xiàyǔ　的de　时候shíhou，　她tā　常常chángcháng　在zài　家jiā　看kàn　书shū。xiàyǔ de shíhou, tā chángcháng zài jiā kàn shū.

When it rains, she often stays home and reads.

如果rúguǒ　下雨xiàyǔ，　我们wǒmen　就jiù　不bú　去qù　了le，　怎么办zěnmebàn？rúguǒ xiàyǔ, wǒmen jiù bú qù le, zěnmebàn?

If it rains, then we won’t go; what should we do?

外面wàimiàn　下雨xiàyǔ　的de　时候shíhou，　我wǒ　喜欢xǐhuan　站zhàn　在zài　窗户chuānghu　旁边pángbiān　听tīng　音乐yīnyuè。wàimiàn xiàyǔ de shíhou, wǒ xǐhuan zhàn zài chuānghu pángbiān tīng yīnyuè.

When it’s raining outside, I like to stand by the window and listen to music.

即使Jíshǐ　外面wàimiàn　下雨xiàyǔ，　我们wǒmen　也yě　打算dǎsuàn　去qù　图书馆túshūguǎn。Jíshǐ wàimiàn xiàyǔ, wǒmen yě dǎsuàn qù túshūguǎn.

Even if it rains outside, we still plan to go to the library.

今天jīntiān　的de　天气tiānqì　又yòu　冷lěng　又yòu　下雨xiàyǔ，　我wǒ　只zhǐ　想xiǎng　在zài　客厅kètīng　里lǐ　休息xiūxi。jīntiān de tiānqì yòu lěng yòu xiàyǔ, wǒ zhǐ xiǎng zài kètīng lǐ xiūxi.

Today the weather is both cold and rainy; I just want to rest in the living room.

下雨xiàyǔ　的de　周末zhōumò　她tā　一yí　个gè　人rén　在zài　家jiā　会huì　觉得juéde　很hěn　无聊wúliáo。xiàyǔ de zhōumò tā yí gè rén zài jiā huì juéde hěn wúliáo.

On rainy weekends she feels very bored when she is at home alone.

因为yīnwèi　下雨xiàyǔ，　地铁站dìtiězhàn　外面wàimiàn　的de　公交站gōngjiāozhàn　有yǒu　很hěn　多duō　人rén　在zài　那里nàli　等děng　公交车gōngjiāochē。yīnwèi xiàyǔ, dìtiězhàn wàimiàn de gōngjiāozhàn yǒu hěn duō rén zài nàli děng gōngjiāochē.

Because it was raining, there were many people waiting for the bus at the bus stop outside the subway station.

外面wàimiàn　下雨xiàyǔ　的de　时候shíhou，　我wǒ　在zài　房间fángjiān　里lǐ　看不清楚kànbùqīngchu　外面wàimiàn　的de　马路mǎlù。wàimiàn xiàyǔ de shíhou, wǒ zài fángjiān lǐ kànbùqīngchu wàimiàn de mǎlù.

When it rains outside, I can’t see the road outside clearly from my room.

今jīn天tiān　又yòu　下雨xiàyǔ　了le，　我wǒ　不bù　想xiǎng　出chū去qù。jīntiān yòu xiàyǔ le, wǒ bù xiǎng chūqù.

It’s raining again today; I don’t want to go out.

因为yīnwèi　外面wàimiàn　下雨xiàyǔ，　我们wǒmen　不得不bùdébù　在zài　家jiā　看kàn　电影diànyǐng。yīnwèi wàimiàn xiàyǔ, wǒmen bùdébù zài jiā kàn diànyǐng.

Because it’s raining outside, we have no choice but to watch a movie at home.

下雨xiàyǔ　了le，　我们wǒmen　赶紧gǎnjǐn　回家huíjiā　吧ba。xiàyǔ le, wǒmen gǎnjǐn huíjiā ba.

It’s raining; let’s go home right away.

春天chūntiān　的de　时候shíhou，　这个zhège　城市chéngshì　不bú　是shì　下雨xiàyǔ，　就jiù　是shì　刮风guāfēng，　所以suǒyǐ　我wǒ　常常chángcháng　带dài　伞sǎn　出门chūmén。chūntiān de shíhou, zhège chéngshì bú shì xiàyǔ, jiù shì guāfēng, suǒyǐ wǒ chángcháng dài sǎn chūmén.
