How would a Levantine speaker usually pronounce الغابة بعيدة?
A common Levantine pronunciation is:
il-ghābe bʕīde
or
el-ghābe bʕīde
A few helpful notes:
- الغابة is often pronounced il-ghābe / el-ghābe
- بعيدة is often pronounced bʕīde
- The final ة usually sounds like -e in Levantine speech, not -a

Why is there no word for is in the sentence?
