Why does fährst have an umlaut (ä) when the base verb is fahren?
fahren (to drive/travel) is a strong verb. In the present tense, its stem vowel changes from a to ä for the du (you) and er/sie/es (he/she/it) forms. You say ich fahre, but du fährst.
Doesn't morgen mean "morning"?
It depends on the capital letter! When written with a lowercase m, morgen means "tomorrow". When it is capitalized (der Morgen), it is the noun meaning "morning".
The English translation says "are travelling". Why is there no word for "are" in the German sentence?
German doesn't have an "-ing" form (present continuous tense). You just use the simple present tense (Du fährst) to mean both "You travel" and "You are travelling".
Why do we say Viel Glück instead of Viele Glück?
viel means "much", while viele means "many". Because Glück (luck) is something you can't count with numbers, you have to use viel.
