Usages of tanzen

Anna schwimmt gern, aber sie tanzt lieber.
Anna likes swimming, but she prefers dancing.

The boy swims a lot, but he does not like dancing.
Wir wollen am Nachmittag Musik hören, aber niemand tanzt.
We want to listen to music in the afternoon, but nobody is dancing.

It was icy outside; the snowflakes danced all the more beautifully.
