The sky, and the other sky
der Himmel does double duty: the physical sky and the religious heaven, exactly as English heaven and sky split a single German word.
Der Himmel ist grau. — The sky is grey.

Three kinds of weather

| der Nebel | the fog, the mist | Der *Nebel ist stark.* |

der Nebel is a mass noun — German never pluralises it in ordinary use. der Blitz counts individual strikes, so it pluralises freely, and it is also the flash on a camera.

Taking a walk
German does not use a verb for this. The noun der Spaziergang goes with machen:
Wir machen einen Spaziergang. — We are going for a walk.
There is a verb, spazieren gehen, and you have had it since L51 — but einen Spaziergang machen is the commoner phrasing and the one worth having as a unit.
