Explaining "how" with "indem"
When you want to explain the method or means by which you achieve something, use the conjunction indem. In English, this is usually expressed with "by" followed by an "-ing" verb (like "by practicing").
Like other subordinating conjunctions, indem kicks the conjugated verb to the very end of its clause.

When sharing study tips or learning strategies, you will often pair indem with the impersonal pronoun man (one / you). This is the perfect way to talk about general truths or universally effective methods.
