Usages of le procès

Si l'avocat avait préparé le dossier, il n'aurait pas perdu le procès.
If the lawyer had prepared the file, he would not have lost the trial.
Si le jury avait délibéré plus longtemps, le procès aurait été équitable.
If the jury had deliberated longer, the trial would have been fair.
Celui-ci aurait refusé le procès s'il avait connu la peine.
This one would have refused the trial if he had known the sentence.
