Expressing Possibility with "Saattaa"
When planning a ski trip or spending time in the mountains, conditions are often uncertain. To express that something "might" or "may" happen, Finnish uses the modal verb saattaa.
Like other modal verbs, saattaa is conjugated to match the subject. The main verb that follows it must always be in its first infinitive form (the basic dictionary form).
