te — the written and
te joins clauses the way i joins words, and written Croatian loves it: Kupili smo karte te ušli u kazalište. In speech it sounds formal; in newspapers it is everywhere. Do not confuse it with the clitic te (Čekam te) — position tells them apart: the conjunction stands between clauses.
jedino — only, solely
jedino is samo's stricter sibling — the ONLY thing, nothing else: Jedino ona zna cijelu istinu. Jedino što želim jest mir.
ne X, već Y
You know corrective ne... nego (A2). Formal Croatian offers već in the same slot: not X but Y: To nije šala, već ozbiljan problem. This je the SAME word as već = already — context and the comma give it away.
