Edge Pieces and Setup
When starting a puzzle, the first step is usually to turn the pieces face up so you can see them. The verb for turning or flipping is okretati. You will also want to isolate the rubni (edge or outer) pieces to form the border.
| We turn all the pieces face up. | Okrećemo sve komadiće prema gore. |

Spotting Shades
Once the pieces are laid out, you can begin grouping them. You might start uočavati (spotting or noticing) similar colors and sorting them by their specific nijansa (shade).

Matching and Fitting
Finding the right piece involves looking for an odgovarajući (matching or appropriate) shape. When you find it, the pieces should uklapati se (fit together) seamlessly, allowing you to spajati (connect or join) them.
