Present Tense Plural Verbs

To talk about groups of people doing an action, you will need the plural present tense verbs. They are formed by adding specific prefixes and suffixes to the verb stem.

أنتمYou (pl)تـ ... ـونتساعدون

"We" (First Person Plural)

To say "we" do an action, attach the prefix نـ to the beginning of the verb. No suffix is needed. You can include the standalone pronoun نحن for emphasis, but the verb's prefix already makes the subject clear.

"They" (Third Person Plural)

To talk about a group of people ("they"), start the verb with the prefix يـ and add the suffix ـون to the end. This form is used for groups of males or mixed-gender groups.

"You all" (Second Person Plural)

When addressing a group of people directly ("you all"), use the prefix تـ along with the suffix ـون.
